Job Summary
As part of a collaborative dynamic multidisciplinary team the PCU RN provides direct patient care delegating those interventions which may be performed by others and takes a lead role in maintaining a safe environment for the rendering of effective nursing care. Utilizing the nursing process the RN provides safe effective and compassionate care with a focus on restoring and promoting patient health and well-being and partners with patients families and the care team in the planning and coordination of care.
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a 23-bed inpatient unit serving a diverse patient population with acute medical and surgical needs including those requiring advanced monitoring and assessment.

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a 23-bed inpatient unit serving a diverse patient population with acute medical and surgical needs including those requiring advanced monitoring and assessment.
Requirement description :
- 2 years of PCU experience - REQUIRED
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac drips - REQUIRED
- Previous acute care experience - Preferred
- Travel experience - Preferred

- Certifications - don t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
- License - must be eligible and willing to obtain
