Job Summary

**Certified Surgical Tech First Assist:**

Helps take care of patients before during and after surgery following directions from a Registered Nurse (RN). Makes sure the surgery area is ready before the patient arrives. Aids the RN in planning the patients care. Follows steps to keep both patients and staff safe.

**Certification Requirements:** Must be certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
