Job Summary

**Important Information for Travelers**

- **Transportation:**

You need to have your own vehicle to get to this location. There is no public transportation available in this rural area.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Help set up the operating room before surgeries.

- Make sure all supplies tools and special items needed for surgery are ready and correct.

- Open and handle sterile (clean) items safely and correctly.

- Understand any special needs based on the patients medical history and the type of surgery.

- Count sponges sharp tools and instruments with the scrub person.

- Keep track of the costs for items used during surgery for each patient.

**Qualifications Needed:**

- At least 2 years of experience working in an operating room (OR) is required.

- Must have experience as both a scrub and circulator nurse.

- Experience with orthopedic (bone/joint) and neuro (brain/spine) surgeries is a plus.

- Familiarity with EPIC EMR (electronic medical records) system is needed.

- You must have your own vehicle.

- Your home address must be included in your profile.

**Certification Requirements:**

- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from AHA is needed.

- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA is needed.

- Must have a state license to work in New Hampshire (a compact license is allowed).
