Watershed Restoration Group Inc. an Accounting company based in Missoula is seeking a Mid-Senior Botanical Garden Curator to join our team. As a Botanical Garden Curator you will work on-site to manage and maintain our botanical garden ensuring that it is a beautiful and educational space for visitors. Salary for this position is between 45000 and 60000 USD per year with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. We offer full-time employment and an on-site working mode. Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the botanical garden including plant care pest control and irrigation
- Develop and implement educational programs and events for visitors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute garden improvements and expansions
- Manage the garden budget and ensure that expenses are within budgetary constraints
- Supervise and train garden staff and volunteers
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in horticulture botany or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in botanical garden management
- Strong knowledge of plant care pest control and irrigation techniques
- Experience developing and implementing educational programs and events
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to supervise and train staff and volunteers
