To support our Group Accounting & Tax team at LuxExperience we are searching for a Senior Group Accounting Manager (f/m/d) to be based in our Munich office.
Tasks
- Independently define manage and continuously improve the end-to-end group consolidation and close process including intercompany reconciliation and elimination procedures
- Lead the group-wide administration of our LucaNet-based consolidation and reporting system serving as the go-to contact for all LucaNet-related queries. Provide hands-on guidance to local and central users and drive continuous improvements in data management reporting workflows and system enhancements
- Lead and support technical accounting topics such as lease accounting goodwill impairment assessments and group consolidation
- Take ownership of specific areas in the preparation of quarterly and annual IFRS financial statements and contribute to SEC filings (e.g. Form 6-K) by preparing accurate disclosures and coordinating cross-functional inputs
- Coordinate audit processes by preparing supporting documentation managing auditor requests and ensuring timely delivery of required materials
- Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with teams such as investor relations legal and FP&A during the quarterly and annual reporting cycle including press release preparation
- Contribute to ad hoc financial analyses internal business cases and strategic finance initiatives including M&A and performance reporting topics
Requirements
- You have a degree in finance accounting or business administration professional qualification candidate (e.g. CPA ACCA CFA) is a strong plus
- You bring 35 years of experience in external audit / financial reporting role ideally in Big 4 company
- You have a solid foundation in IFRS especially in areas such as IFRS 16 and consolidation; previous SEC reporting exposure is a plus
- Familiarity with tools like LucaNet or similar consolidation/reporting systems is a strong asset
- Youre detail-oriented structured and analytical with a strong sense of ownership over your work
- You communicate clearly work well across teams and are eager to grow your technical and business knowledge
- Youre open to process improvement and interested in finance technologies including AI tools
- Fluent English skills (spoken and written) are required; German / Italian knowledge is a plus
