Job Summary

Cath Lab Technologist- Contract Role

Location: Newburyport MA 01950

Shift: Days 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $3000 - $3200; (Negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities:

Assist in all phases of cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology (IR) procedures.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality diagnostic images.
Prepare patients for procedures explain processes and ensure safety and comfort throughout.
Scrub circulate and monitor during procedures as required.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care.
Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and patient records.
Ensure compliance with all hospital state and federal regulations and safety standards.

Requirements:

Experience: Must have recent and relevant experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab (IR experience is a plus but strong cath experience is essential).
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Certifications:
- ARRT (R) Certification Required
- Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License Required
- BCLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required
Must demonstrate strong procedural knowledge and critical thinking in high-stress situations.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
