Registered Nurse Progressive Care- Contract Role Location: Burlington MA 01805
Duration: 13-weeks Contract
Shift: Night 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $2448 - $2592; (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality patient-centered nursing care to PCU/Telemetry/Med-Surg patients.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms.
- Titrate vasoactive medications and manage pressors.
- Manage patients on High Flow oxygen therapy and BiPAP.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and intervene as necessary.
- Document nursing assessments interventions and outcomes per facility policy.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Safely float to other units within scope of competency as needed.
Required Requirements: Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience.
Certifications:
- Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Preferred: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Licensure:
- Active and Valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts REQUIRED
