Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a full-time permanent position in Sanford Florida. As an ICU RN you will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced high-acuity setting. You will be responsible for assessing planning implementing and evaluating care for patients in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

Deliver safe compassionate and comprehensive care to ICU patients.
Monitor assess and manage patients with life-threatening conditions.
Administer medications treatments and interventions as prescribed.
Use critical thinking and clinical judgment to respond to emergency situations.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Adhere to all hospital policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
Provide support and education to patients and families regarding treatment plans.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent ICU RN experience in acute care (Required)
License: Active Florida RN license OR approved multistate/compact RN license
- Note: Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation
Education:
- Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BSN preferred
Certifications (Required):
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 30 days of start
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of start
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of start
