Onsite: Houston TX headquarters (parking reimbursement)

Work schedule: Mon Thurs 7:30-4:30 and Friday 7:30-12 (half day)

We are currently seeking an Oracle EBS Programmer with R12.2.10 e-Business Suite experience and strong knowledge of APEX 18.x OAF JAVA PL/SQL SQL Web-ADI & Workflow development for an onsite assignment in downtown Houston.

You will provide technical and some functional support for Oracles EAM SCM & INV modules including support of business users participate in all relevant change management activities and overall service delivery and customer satisfaction.

This includes development and administration of all EAM SCM & INV modules. This will require interaction with core business users and the need to work as a team member of a large Oracle support team.


Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist/Backfill for EAM INV & SCM eBusiness suite modules.
• Design development and implementation of applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues; work with Oracle Support to resolve Service Requests.
• Collaborate with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to meet their needs.
• Familiarity with industry-accepted project management principles methodologies tools and best practices throughout the project life cycle.
• Facilitate and coordinate end-user acceptance testing change management issue management problem escalation and resolution.
• Configure test and implement configurable components of Oracle e-Business Suite.
• Acquire and maintain system and business knowledge needed to support direct users and other internal technical teams.
• Responsible for the completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements.
• Maintain and document customizations/extensions.

Technical Environment

• Oracle E-Business Suite: R12.2.10
• Oracle RDBMS: 12c running on 64-bit Linux
• Oracle Developer (APEX 18.x JAVA OAF PL/SQL SQL Web-ADI & Workflow)
• Toad SQL*Plus

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications

• Working in the office onsite (is required)
• Bachelors Computer Science MIS or CIS is preferred
• 5 years of experience in Information Technology specific to application development and support (is required)
  • Proven experience in development implementation production support and upgrades (is preferred)
  • Ability to work as Business Analyst (functional) and Developer (technical) to complete tasks from conception to production.
• Oracle 12.2.10 (is required)
• APEX 18.x JAVA OAF PL/SQL SQL Web-ADI & Workflow (is required)
• 3-5 years of experience with Oracle Development Tools (is required)
• Customizing applications using OAF (is required)
• 3-5 years of experience with Oracle e-Business Suite EAM Inventory & SCM modules
• Thorough understanding of Oracles EAM SCM & INV technical objects Application Object Library and Service Oriented Architecture (is preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (is required)
