Job Description
Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract
Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive business initiatives by analyzing requirements optimizing processes and delivering data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders business units and technical teams to translate business needs into functional solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs document requirements and define clear business objectives.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes identify gaps and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Communication: Bridge the gap between business and technology teams ensuring alignment and clarity of project goals.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather interpret and visualize data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Solution Design: Work with developers architects and product teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into functional solutions.
- Agile & Waterfall Methodologies: Participate in Agile ceremonies sprint planning and backlog grooming while also being comfortable with traditional project management frameworks.
- Risk Management: Identify risks propose mitigation strategies and ensure business continuity during project execution.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain business requirement documents (BRDs) functional specifications process flows and regulatory compliance documentation.
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in IT Finance Healthcare or ERP systems.
- Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong understanding of business process modeling data analysis and reporting tools (Excel SQL Tableau Power BI etc.).
- Experience with Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools such as JIRA Confluence Visio or BPMN tools.
- Excellent communication problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA Certification.
- Experience with ERP CRM or cloud-based business applications.
- Working knowledge of API integrations and data migration projects.
- Experience in leading and mentoring junior business analysts.
