Job Summary
Job Summary Manufacturing Planner (New Orleans LA)
- Develops implements and maintains manufacturing plans Bill of Materials work instructions and illustrations for as-built configurations
- Creates manufacturing concepts and strategies aligned with business goals
- Integrates suppliers processes materials data and technology to meet production and delivery needs
- Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements
- Develops and manages tooling requirements from design through end-of-use
- Investigates and resolves manufacturing issues as they arise
- Performs producibility assessments for parts and product designs
- Provides input on producibility to design and manufacturing teams to meet cost and scheduling targets
- Develops integrated work statements and event sequencing to support delivery commitments
- Authors updates and reviews processes and procedures to comply with business and regulatory standards
- Handles day-to-day project activities with a focus on authoring planning documents
- Utilizes CAD and manufacturing systems; experience with MESCI and Creo is preferred
- Requires 5 years of manufacturing planning experience
- No security clearance required; access to NASA facilities
- Education: Associate degree plus 3 years related experience or equivalent combination (e.g. Bachelors 1 year or 5 years relevant experience)
