ROLE DESCRIPTION

AGG is adding a Sr. DevOps Engineer Lead to drive the design automation and management of CI/CD pipelines while ensuring secure scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure. The role requires hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code containerization and scripting with a focus on optimizing deployment processes and supporting development teams. The ideal candidate will combine technical leadership with practical experience to deliver efficient compliant and high-performing DevOps solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing release management strategies and processes using SWOT analysis and other industry methodologies to pinpoint key areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather insights on challenges and recurring issues within the release management lifecycle.
  • Recommend enhancements to the release management process that align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective release management practices and tools including GitHub Jenkins Helm IBM UrbanCode Terraform ServiceNow DataDog Splunk Kubernetes AWS SonarQube and JFROG.
  • Lead initiatives to continuously improve release management practices ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in deployment processes.
  • Other duties as requested by Leadership.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7 years of experience in DevOps or related roles demonstrating a strong track record in release management
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools with hands-on experience in containerization technologies
  • Solid understanding of configuration management tools and their application in release management
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment complemented by strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field

OTHER Must have no other full-time commitments ready to engage in exciting technical consulting projects with our diverse portfolio of clients.
