ROLE DESCRIPTION

AGG is adding a Sr. DevOps Engineer Lead to drive the design automation and management of CI/CD pipelines while ensuring secure scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure. The role requires hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code containerization and scripting with a focus on optimizing deployment processes and supporting development teams. The ideal candidate will combine technical leadership with practical experience to deliver efficient compliant and high-performing DevOps solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing release management strategies and processes using SWOT analysis and other industry methodologies to pinpoint key areas for improvement.
Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather insights on challenges and recurring issues within the release management lifecycle.
Recommend enhancements to the release management process that align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective release management practices and tools including GitHub Jenkins Helm IBM UrbanCode Terraform ServiceNow DataDog Splunk Kubernetes AWS SonarQube and JFROG.
Lead initiatives to continuously improve release management practices ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in deployment processes.
Other duties as requested by Leadership.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

7 years of experience in DevOps or related roles demonstrating a strong track record in release management
Strong proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools with hands-on experience in containerization technologies
Solid understanding of configuration management tools and their application in release management
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment complemented by strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field

OTHER Must have no other full-time commitments ready to engage in exciting technical consulting projects with our diverse portfolio of clients.
