Job Description
Position: Database Administrator (DBA)
Location: Cincinnati OH 45215 (ONSITE 100%)
Duration: 6 months
Role Description:
- Core Responsibilities of a DBA Installation and Configuration Setting up and customizing database management systems (DBMS).
- Maintenance and Monitoring
- Regularly checking for slow responses or performance bottlenecks and applying updates and patches to optimize the system.
- Security Controlling access to databases and protecting data from unauthorized use or breaches.
- Backup and Recovery Implementing solutions to prevent data loss and restore databases after system failures.
- Performance Optimization Ensuring databases operate efficiently and quickly to meet business needs.
- Capacity Planning Monitoring hardware and operating system resources to ensure the database can scale with growing data and user demands.
- Troubleshooting Diagnosing and resolving issues with the database system.
- Data Management Managing data as it is stored retrieved and organized within the system.
