Job Summary
The Long Term Care Assistant is responsible for assisting with the delivery of leisure/therapeutic recreation that enhance the quality of life for all Elders living at Hillside Pines.
Qualifications include:
Must have a keen interest in working with the senior population in long term care.
Able to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated flexibility creativity and time management skills.
Willing to learn independently when trained
Strong interpersonal skills including active listening empathy effective oral and written oral communication.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite Zoom i pads and any other software or equipment aimed at enhancing the life of Elders.
Understanding and commitment to Hillside Pines Mission Vision Values and the Eden Alternative philosophy to provide quality care and service to Elders.
