Responsibilities:

  • Perform neurosurgical procedures with precision and expertise.
  • Assess and diagnose patients neurological conditions accurately.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patients needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurosurgery and medical practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to medical staff and colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Neurosurgery.
  • Valid state medical license in Colorado.
  • Proven experience working as a Neurosurgeon.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in patient care.

Level I trauma

Schedule: 24-hour call 7a-7a

Required Procedures: Surgical traumas (cranial and spine) surgical spine fractures

Support Staff: RN MA trauma and neurosurgeons

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
