Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Class A Welder to join a Tulsa-based fabrication team. This role involves Flux Core (FCAW) Stick (SMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding for the fabrication and repair of large industrial vessels tanks and shells. The Class A Welder must be able to read blueprints follow ASME code requirements and deliver consistent high-quality welds in various positions.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality welds using Flux Core Stick and TIG processes on large-diameter vessels and shells.
Ensure all work meets ASME standards and company quality codes.
Weld in flat horizontal vertical and overhead positions as required.
Layout fit and tack components for welding ensuring alignment and dimensional accuracy.
Inspect completed welds and verify compliance with specifications.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Class A Welder working on vessels tanks or heavy industrial fabrication.
Ability to pass a 6G Schedule 80 7018/TIG weld test.
Strong knowledge of welding code requirements and procedures.
Skilled in blueprint reading layout and fit-up tasks.
Proficiency in multiple welding processes: Flux Core Stick and TIG.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and safety commitment.
