Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President Omni-channel Merchandising Operations and Analytics!
In this role the incumbent will be focused on optimizing Omni- Channel Merchandising operations and Analytics through data-driven strategies. The incumbent should be a seasoned professional with strong analytical skills Omnichannel Merchandising (Lifestyle & Fashion -Apparel Footwear Accessories) and leadership abilities to achieve revenue and growth targets specific to the Retail industry.

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver thought leadership POVs and transformation frameworks in the omnichannel merchandising and fulfillment space.
Advise clients on Order Management Systems (OMS) strategies selection and optimization for seamless cross-channel fulfillment.
Drive the design and implementation of Omnichannel Inventory Allocation & Replenishment strategies (store warehouse DC dark stores micro-fulfillment centers). Must have understanding and experience on BOPIS Curbside pickup etc.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to align merchandising strategies with customer experience and supply chain goals.
Lead initiatives related to inventory visibility available-to-promise (ATP) logic and real-time inventory synchronization across channels.
Support distribution operations across the middle and last mile including carrier management routing and delivery optimization.
Design and improve processes for reverse logistics to enhance returns management and customer satisfaction.
Drive Open-to-buy (OTB) and assortment planning processes integrated with omnichannel planning cycles.
Partner with client teams and solution architects to translate business requirements into scalable technology and process solutions.
Support system integration and enablement of merchandising and supply chain platforms such as Blue Yonder SAP Oracle Retail Manhattan Sterling OMS etc.
Work with cross-functional teams across technology operations and business to enable end-to-end omnichannel capabilities.
Track industry trends digital technologies and innovations in omnichannel retail and merchandising.
Contribute to internal capability development including playbooks assets frameworks and case studies.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
A masters degree in business administration Operations Management Retail Management or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in Analytics are preferred.
Relevant years of progressive experience in Omnichannel Lead Merchandising (Fashion/Apparel)
Within the Retail industry with relevant years in a leadership role. Proven track record of leading and managing teams of Omnichannel Merchandising including setting strategic direction overseeing execution and driving results.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Strong leadership skills for guiding and managing a team setting clear performance goals providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative work environment in the context of merchandising function.
Proficiency in data analysis for interpreting complex datasets sales trend analysis and customer feedback and market trend insights specific to Merchandising within the Retail merchandise business.
Proficiency in specialized Merchandising and analytics software used for efficient Merchandising inventory management and Price standardization in the Retail sector.
Experience with analytics platforms like Tableau Microsoft Power BI or similar software for in-depth data analysis and informed decision-making for Merchandising processes.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) used for managing Merchandising processes including inventory management and financials.
