We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

• Provide care to a variety of pediatric patients in an outpatient setting requiring day treatment therapies.
• Administer infusions to pediatric patients for a wide variety of conditions includingcancer hematologic conditions Crohns disease juvenile arthritis genetic disorders transplant and research.
• Provide post-anesthesia care including phase I and phase II recovery following radiologic interventions/treatments.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team includingproceduralists specialty providers APPs child life scheduling and radiology
• Set priorities adapting to changing patient and unit/clinic situations.
• Work in two of three care areas: day treatment therapies (e.g. infusions transfusions) sedation for procedures as well as pre-post anesthesia care.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

• 6 months pediatric nursing experience Required
• 1 year recent (within 2 years) experience in Pediatric Acute Care and/or Pediatric hematology/oncology and/or Pediatric Sedation and/or Pediatric PACU or pre/post anesthesia area Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
• CPR certification Upon Hire Required
• PALS certification within 6 months Required
• Chemotherapy certification Preferred
