As a Senior Security Communications Specialist youll be the go-to person in our communications center. Youll oversee daily operations lead and support your team and make sure everything runs smoothly when it comes to safety and security. Your work will help ensure quick coordinated responses to incidents across our hospital.
Oversee communications center operations and support your team.
Answer calls monitor alarms and coordinate emergency responses.
Use our Computer Assisted Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management Systems (RMS).
Train guide and schedule Security Communications Specialists.
Review incident reports and keep accurate records.
Work closely with hospital staff Baltimore Police and other partners when needed.
High school diploma (or equivalent).
Completion of entry-level security training and a 911 Emergency Response course.
At least 6 years of security or operations experience (supervisory experience is a plus!).
Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
Familiarity with security systems radios and computer-based dispatch tools.
Must be at least 21 years old pass a background check health screening and random drug testing.
This is a fast-paced high-energy role where no two days are the same. Youll need to think quickly handle emergencies with professionalism and be ready to lead by example.
Salary Range: Minimum 20.22/hour - Maximum 33.38/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
