As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Bank you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. As a core technical contributor you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Executes standard software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting
- Writes secure and high-qualitycode using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance
- Designs developscodes and troubleshoots withconsideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development LifeCycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
- Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basiccomplexity
- Learns and applies system processes methodologies and skills for the development of secure stablecode and systems
- Optimize application performance and manage memoryusage using tools such as Instruments
- Implement and managecloud messaging APIs and push notification services
- Utilizecode versioning tools especially Git for efficient sourcecode management
- Adhere to and apply Apples design principles and interface guidelines in application development
Required qualificationscapabilities and skills
- Formal training orcertification on software engineeringconcepts and 3 years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design application development testing and operational stability
- Proficient in designing and implementing iOS mobile applications using SwiftUI Swift and Objective-C.
- Experience with iOS application development and frameworks
- Experience with One or more Design Patterns MVCMVVM MVI
- Experience with RESTful APIs toconnect iOS applications to back-end services
- Proficiency in Git/Bitbucket version control
- Experience in developing debugging and maintaining iOS swiftcode in a largecorporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Demonstrable ability tocode in one or more languages as well as experience across the whole Software Development LifeCycle
- Exposure to agile methodologies such asCI/CD Application Resiliency and Security
- Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline ( artificial intelligence machine learning etc.)
Preferred qualificationscapabilities and skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Familiarity with Swift and AWS
