About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned and strategic Project Manager Sewerage Treatment to lead the delivery of complex wastewater infrastructure projects across Qatar. This role is instrumental in supporting national master planning efforts and ensuring the successful implementation of sewerage treatment systems aligned with regulatory and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the full lifecycle of sewerage treatment projects including feasibility design permitting construction and commissioning.
- Manage complex infrastructure and master planning projects involving foul sewer TSE (Treated Sewage Effluent) and SGW (Surface and Ground Water) systems.
- Coordinate with Ashghal local municipalities and environmental agencies to ensure compliance with Qatars regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee project planning budgeting scheduling and resource allocation.
- Conduct technical reviews risk assessments and quality assurance processes.
- Engage with consultants contractors and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Monitor environmental impact and ensure adherence to Qatars sustainability and safety standards.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Environmental or Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred).
- Minimum 18 years of experience in sewerage treatment or wet utilities project management.
- At least 2 years of experience managing complex infrastructure and master planning projects involving foul sewer TSE and SGW.
- Demonstrated experience in managing at least two national or regional masterplans.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) Ashghal standards and local permitting processes.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with deep sewer networks pumping stations and treatment plant technologies.
- Familiarity with Qatars infrastructure development plans and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in project management tools and technical documentation.
