This position will be posted from 9/16/2025 - 9/30/2025.

This internship provides hands-on experience in how environmental regulations and Nutriens day-to-day operations interact offering insight into environmental risk management compliance and sustainability. Interns are introduced to how companies manage the practical challenges of balancing production demands with environmental performance improvements.

What you will do:

• Work alongside Nutriens Corporate Environmental Operations Team which provides environmental compliance and risk management support to Nutriens Nitrogen Phosphate and Retail Operating Segments.
• Key projects/responsibilities may include:
  • Learning about environmental permits regulations and company policies.
  • Assisting Team Members on projects involving environmental risk management and mitigation; and air water and waste compliance projects.
  • Assisting with updating corporate environmental global standards training materials and communications.
  • Participating in routine site visits to support facilities in managing environmental risks and improving environmental performance.
  • Assisting with compiling environmental performance data and preparing presentations for Team leadership.

What you will bring:

• Currently enrolled in a 2 to 4 year Environmental Engineering or Environmental Sciences Biology Geology Chemistry Hydrology degreeor equivalent related programwith a graduation date of Aug 2026 or later.

Compensation & Benefits:

The hourly range for this role in Loveland CO location is between $23.62 - $26.86. While we provide this range as general guidance several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including but not limited to candidate skill set experience and training licensure and certifications work location and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

Our benefit package provides paid sick days. However given the temporary nature of this role this position does not participate in any other benefit retirement savings or paid time off programs nor any form of incentive compensation. This position is eligible for overtime and any pay elements required under local state or federal law. Nutrien will comply with benefit and retirement regulations.
