DISCLOSURE - MULTI-EMPLOYER ROLE:


This W-2 hourly Direct Support Professionalposition includes responsibilities that span across the following two affiliated organizations all under shared leadership:


FOCUS #1 Lighthouse Behavioral Health Center

FOCUS #2 Community Wellness Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program


You will maintain separate W-2 employment relationships with each organization and will receive individual payroll compensation from each entity based on the time worked and services provided for their respective programs. This means you will be an official employee of all two companies with hours responsibilities and compliance obligations tracked separately for each.


This role is structured as an up to 24-hour per week position with approximately 16 of the total weekly hours allocated to Lighthouse Behavioral Health Center and 8 of the total weekly hours allocated to Community Wellness Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program. While day-to-day supervision and scheduling will be coordinated centrally to support integrated care each employer will manage its own onboarding HR and compliance processes in accordance with applicable laws and organizational policies.

Client Service Location Expectations:

This position is based on-site at the supportive housing program located at Lighthouse Behavioral Health Center 1723 Gwynns Falls Parkway LLC Baltimore MD 21217. All services are to be delivered in person at this location. The staff member is expected to be present on-site during scheduled shifts provide support within the residence and ensure documentation and responsibilities are completed in alignment with program protocols. Remote work or off-site service delivery is not applicable for this role.


Caseload Makeup:

The assigned caseload for this position consists of eighteen (16) Category A clients who reside in the community and may be serviced at 3310 Eastern Avenue Baltimore MD throughout the community or in the community meeting room of 1114 and 1116 E 20th Street location.

DIVISION: Operations


CLASSIFICATION:

This is a part-time W-2 employee position totaling 24 hours per week with hours allocated across three affiliated organizations as follows:

  • Community Wellness Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (CWPRP):
    Part-time W-2 employee approximately 8 hours per week (40% of total weekly hours)
  • Lighthouse Behavioral Health Center (LHBHC):
    Part-time W-2 employee approximately 16 hours per week (60% of total weekly hours)

While each assignment is classified as part-time under its respective entity the combined total constitutes a part-time 24-hour per week role across the organization network. This structure ensures shared staffing efficiency and cross-program collaboration in alignment with operational and regulatory needs.


WORK SCHEDULE: Every Thursday Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM each day

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience expertise verified credentials and available company budget.

ANTICIPATED TRAVEL: 5% of the time. There is no additional compensation for travel.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist supervisor with work-related requests.
  • Collaborate with and serve as program POC for external treatment providers and outside agencies as needed.
  • Responsible for following regulations of COMAR CARF any other regulatory body and company policies/ procedures related to service delivery and documentation and co-facilitating orientation of all new hires to these as well.
  • Support the maintenance of a safe environment by participating in training and drills as requested.
  • Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients treatment.
  • Participate in external and internal audits/surveys (CARF/CSA/OHCQ) as directed by the supervisor.
  • Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement plans by completing periodic audits or other activities to ensure regulatory compliance and/or improve service delivery.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Frequent standing walking and observation during shift
  • Lifting or assisting residents (up to 40 lbs) including during transfers or emergencies
  • Use of PPE and documentation systems

ACCOUNTABLE FOR: Providing peer support medication administration shift leadership and residential care in a licensed residential treatment facility in accordance with COMAR and ASAM regulations

SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The House Manager is a supervisory-level direct care staff member responsible for ensuring safe supportive and compliant operations within a licensed residential setting. This position combines the duties of a House Manager Medication Technician and Direct Care Staff including shift coverage medication administration resident supervision documentation and facility support.

The House Manager is the on-site shift leader coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure consistent resident care adherence to care plans and regulatory compliance.

SCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Household & Facility Oversight

  • Supervise the day-to-day flow of the household including resident routines cleanliness safety and meal service
  • Monitor facility supplies and cleanliness submitting maintenance or restocking requests as needed
  • Lead and support other staff during the shift ensuring coverage timeliness and policy adherence
  • Conduct headcounts room checks and monitor resident whereabouts according to facility rules

Medication Administration

  • Administer medications according to physician orders and delegating nurse protocols
  • Document medication administration accurately and in real-time on designated MARs or electronic systems
  • Monitor residents for medication side effects refusals or errors and report to nursing/clinical teams as required
  • Ensure medications are stored securely organized and in compliance with OHCQ or other governing body standards

Resident Supervision & Support

  • Provide trauma-informed person-centered care to residents
  • Supervise resident activities behaviors and hygiene to ensure safety and promote wellness
  • Support activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing meal preparation and housekeeping assistance
  • Engage residents in therapeutic recreational or structured programming as assigned

Documentation & Communication

  • Complete shift notes incident reports medication logs and resident records with accuracy and timeliness
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents staff supervisors and external parties
  • Participate in shift handoffs and ensure continuity of care between shifts
  • Report behavioral medical or environmental concerns promptly to clinical supervisors

Emergency Response & Safety

  • Respond to crises including behavioral escalations medical emergencies or environmental hazards
  • Use de-escalation skills and crisis protocols as trained
  • Follow facility fire evacuation and emergency response procedures
  • Support resident transportation or accompany clients to off-site appointments if needed

  • Respond to participant needs or crises as they arise during the shift
  • Support resident engagement community-building and peer accountability
  • Cover or assist with group facilitation in the absence of a clinician or staff lead
  • Participate in training continuing education and peer support development
  • Assist with program events outings or wellness initiatives
  • Contribute to recovery-oriented environment by sharing inspirational messages resources or wellness tools
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and the Maryland Code of Ethics for Peer Recovery Specialists

LEVEL OF EDUCATION / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current Medication Technician Certification required (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • CNA GNA or DSP experience preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification (required or must be obtained during onboarding)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in residential care behavioral health or related field
  • Must pass criminal background check OIG check and drug screening
  • Valid drivers license preferred
