The Sovah School of Health Professionals is situated on the campus of Sovah Health Danville. It provides full-time two-year programs that prepare students for careers in healthcare through hands-on training and education. Our radiologic technology program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee (JRCERT).
How youll contribute
A Clinical Instructor who excels in this role:
- Is responsible for the supervision evaluation and grading of students in the clinical environments. Serves as a consultant for staff in areas of program development clinical practice and professional development.
- Designs implements and assesses learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies departmental/organizational policies regulatory requirements and the use of clinical information technologies.
- Serves as a member of the Advisory Committee and holds an equal responsibility in the programs accreditation process.

What were looking for
Applicants should be graduates of a program in Radiologic Technology and hold an Associates degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
- Licensure by the Commonwealth of Virginia Dept of Health Professionals is required.
- At least 2 years of practical experience as a Radiology Technologist is required.
- Membership in the Virginia and American Societies of Radiologic Technologists is preferred.
