As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate & Investment Bank Treasury team you will design and implement the next generation build-out of a cloud-native liquidity risk management platform for JPMC. You will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team tasked with designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable manner. Your responsibilities include executing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions to support the firms business objectives.

Job responsibilities

Minimum 8 years of experience mandatory

• Executes software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
• Gathers analyzes synthesizes and develops visualizations and reporting from large diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity opportunity inclusion and respect
• Contributes to team drive for continual improvement of development process and innovative solutions to meet business needs
• Applies appropriate dedication to support the business goals through technology solutions

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 8 years applied experience
• Strong hands-on expertise with Java React . React Mandatory
• Hands-on practical experience in system design application development testing and operational stability
• Strong technical development experience on effectively writing code code reviews best practices on configuration management and code refactoring.
• Strong in J2EE & OOPS Design Patterns
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD Application Resiliency and Security
• Ability to work with delivery focused approach work without direction and exhibit role of an Individual Contributor
• Ability to work closely with stakeholders to define requirements.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to AWS
