The Alternative Investment technology team within the Wealth Management Investment Product & Advisory platforms (IPAPT) develops the applications and tools to support the Alternative Investment business.

What youll do in the role:

Lead end to end development of java Spring boot services within a microservice architecture
Architect and evolve platform components to support scalability resilience and extensibility
Design develop distributed systems and service-oriented architectures

What youll bring to the role:

10 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development with expertise in Spring Boot and microservices
Strong experience with SQL server including schema design stored procedures and performance tuning
Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Docker Kubernetes OpenShift an added advantage

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120000 and $165000 per year at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
