Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot microservices architecture AWS cloud services and database management. The ideal candidate will design develop and maintain scalable micro services ensuring high performance and reliability in a cloud environment.
Responsibilities
Design & Development:
Develop and maintain micro services using Java and Spring Boot.
Cloud Integration:
Deploy manage and monitor applications on AWS (EC2 Lambda S3 RDS etc.).
Database Management:
Design and optimize relational (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g. DynamoDB MongoDB) databases.
API Development:
Build RESTful APIs and ensure secure efficient communication between services.
Testing & Quality:
Write unit integration and performance tests; participate in code reviews.
CI/CD:
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline.
Monitoring & Logging:
Set up monitoring logging and alerting for microservices using AWS CloudWatch ELK stack or similar tools.
Collaboration:
Work closely with DevOps QA and front-end teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
Experience:
3 years of experience in Java development with strong Spring Boot and micro services background.
Cloud:
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2 Lambda S3 RDS etc.).
Database:
Proficiency in designing and managing relational and/or NoSQL databases.
API:
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
DevOps:
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
Tools:
Experience with Git Maven/Gradle and monitoring/logging tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- AWS certification(s)
- Experience with serverless architectures
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
