We are looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join our Finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract based in Birmingham City Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within our credit control team managing and coordinating the collection of debt for a designated section of the client ledger. You will work to ensure timely payments minimise the risk of non-payment and uphold the firms commitment to exceptional client service and high professional standards.
About the role:
The senior credit controller will work within the Credit Control team taking responsibility for the credit control of their aligned practice group as well as their own ledger.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Standard working hours are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. After successfully completing your six-month probation period you will have the option to move to flexible working hours. Hybrid working will be introduced following a training period with the timing confirmed by management once you are fully confident and comfortable with the role requirements.
About you:
We are seeking a Credit Controller who recognises the importance of building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external clients. You will have the ability to communicate in a professional yet assertive manner when managing debt collection while demonstrating excellent organisational skills to prioritise and coordinate workloads effectively.
In this role you will bring substantial experience in credit control and account reconciliation along with the flexibility to adapt within a dynamic environment. You will work to set deadlines anticipate upcoming workflows and maintain exceptional attention to detail consistently delivering high-quality results.

It is essential to understand that this role provides a service to both internal and external stakeholders where building strong rapport and relationships will be key to the success and continued growth of the firm.
