Job Summary:
This role involves performing ultrasound examinations on a variety of patients in a critical access magnet hospital setting. The Ultrasound Technician will work a 5x8-hour day shift Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities one weekday night per week and every fourth weekend. The position requires ARDMS certification and a current state license.

Responsibilities:
- Performing ultrasound examinations across various specialties (adult ER ICU obstetrics pediatrics portables).
- Utilizing PACS and Siemens equipment.
- Performing on-call duties as scheduled (one weekday night per week and every fourth weekend).
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- ARDMS certification.
- Active state license as an Ultrasound Technician.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in adult ER ICU obstetrics pediatrics and portable ultrasound.
- Proficiency with PACS and Siemens equipment.
- Experience with various ultrasound specialties (abdominal OB/GYN neonatal renal/pelvis small parts vascular).
- Knowledge of isolation precautions.
Special Considerations:
- On-call responsibilities: one weekday night per week (12:30 AM - 7:00 AM) and every fourth weekend (00:30 AM Saturday - 06:00 AM Monday).
- Guaranteed hours with potential for call-offs up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without pay. Additional call-offs will be billed to the client. On-call shifts count as call-offs.
- RTO restrictions: ideally no more than 5 days.
- No floating between departments.
- Block scheduling can be discussed with the manager.
Scheduling:
- 5x8-hour day shift Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
- On-call rotation as described above.
