Job Summary

Job Summary:

This role is for an MRI Technologist responsible for performing MRI scans in a large hospital setting primarily on nights (Thursday-Saturday and Sunday-Tuesday). The position requires experience in a large hospital environment and a current OBMI MRI license. ARRT certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Location: Portland Oregon United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing MRI scans on patients.
- Maintaining and cleaning MRI equipment.
- Adhering to hospital protocols and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Managing patient flow and scheduling.
- Charting and documenting procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current OBMI MRI License.
- Experience in a large hospital setting.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred but ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) acceptable.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- None specified but experience in a large hospital setting is emphasized.
Special Considerations:
- Weekend work is required (Thursday-Saturday then Sunday-Tuesday).
- Night shift.
- No on-call requirements.
- Block scheduling is utilized.
- 1:1 patient ratio.
Scheduling:
- Night shift Thursday-Saturday and Sunday-Tuesday.
- Specific schedule may be adjusted based on candidate availability. Flexibility is possible.
