Job Summary:
This role is for a Surgical Technologist in an acute care hospital setting. The Surgical Technologist will provide surgical support in the operating room working collaboratively with the surgical team. A minimum of two years of acute care surgical tech experience is required. On-call availability is mandatory.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting the surgical team during surgical procedures.
- Preparing the operating room and surgical instruments.
- Maintaining sterile technique and ensuring a safe surgical environment.
- Assisting with patient positioning and draping.
- Passing instruments and supplies to the surgeon.
- Monitoring the patients vital signs and reporting any changes.
- Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Participating in on-call rotations.
- Preparing the operating room and surgical instruments.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Two years of acute care surgical technician experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current BLS certification.

Special Considerations:
- On-call availability is required.
- Scheduling preferences will be considered but are not guaranteed. Full availability is needed. Requests due to additional employment will not be considered.
- The facility allows for one call-off per two-week pay period.
- Radius for work is 50 miles.
- First-timers are accepted.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- RTO must be included at time of submission.

- Scheduling is determined by the manager with consideration given to scheduling preferences. Full availability is required. On-call shifts are part of the role.
