Job Summary

Java Developer

Hybrid/Remote/Onsite: Hybrid 3 days a week onsite in NYC at 520 Madison

Duration: 7 months (room to extend)

Visa: USC or GC preferred

Skills Needed: Must have banking/finance experience

What Youll Get to Do:

Perform hands-on Java Development adoption of modern software engineering & delivery practices using Java Spring Boot REST/Microservices
Set up configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Conduct code reviews troubleshoot issues and perform debugging
Ensure application security scalability and performance
Continuously improve development processes and workflows
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS
Familiarity with database technologies like Oracle MySQL
You will also be responsible for interfacing and influencing with the business lines as well as others across IT

What Youll Bring with You:

Design develop test and deploy full stack applications using Java Spring Boot and related technologies
Develop responsive front-end interfaces using frameworks such as Angular
Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with various third-party services
Set up configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Conduct code reviews troubleshoot issues and perform debugging
Ensure application security scalability and performance
Continuously improve development processes and workflows
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
Familiarity with database technologies like Oracle MySQL
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and practices
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
Familiarity with version control systems particularly Git
