Location: Kissimmee FL 34741
Shift: 10-hr Days 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in interventional and neuro imaging and will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology imaging procedures with precision and care
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals during procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to protocol
- Adhere to all radiation safety regulations and standards
- Document procedures accurately in patient records
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; less experience considered if strong prior imaging experience (focus on interventional and neuro)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license required
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) certification required; Cardiovascular (CV) Registered preferred
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology or Radiology special procedures program preferred
