Registered Nurse ICU/CCU (Contract Role)
Location: Los Angeles CA 90028
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Coronary Care Unit (CCU) for an 8-week contract in Los Angeles CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care settings and be comfortable floating to similar units as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU/CCU.
- Monitor and assess patients conditions including vital signs labs and cardiac status.
- Administer medications IV drips and other treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians respiratory therapists and case managers.
- Document patient care procedures and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed.
- Float to other critical care or telemetry units as needed based on hospital needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Active California RN License
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU/CCU experience in an acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association required)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
