Job Summary

1. Test Planning:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and feature specifications.
- Create detailed test plans and test cases that cover various aspects of the Audio & Video Enterprise APIs including quality assessment of the generated output and certifying the overall functionality.
2. Test Execution:
- Execute manual and automated tests to verify the functionality quality usability and performance of the APIs.
- Identify and report software defects issues and areas for improvement ensuring thorough documentation of test results.
3. Automation:
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts to accelerate the testing process and ensure consistent test coverage.
- Integrate test automation into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for efficient regression testing.
4. Performance Testing:
- Evaluate the applications performance by conducting load testing stress testing and measuring resource utilization to optimize the APIs efficiency.
5. Usability Testing:
- Assess the API documentation to identify usability issues and suggest improvements for a seamless integration experience.
6. Regression Testing:
- Implement regression testing to ensure that new feature additions or bug fixes do not introduce new issues or regressions.
7. Documentation:
- Maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and test results for traceability and future reference.
8. Communication:
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to discuss and prioritize bug fixes and improvements.
- Provide clear and concise reports on the status of testing and identified issues to the project team.
Skills:
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer Software Tester or similar role with a focus on audio/video or multimedia applications.
Strong knowledge of video editing concepts codecs and multimedia file formats.
Familiarity with video editing software is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
