About this Opportunity
Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent full-time Warehouse PND Forklift Operator for our fully automated 660000 square foot distribution centre in Johnstown ON! Giant Tiger Wholesale - We can offer:
Starting wage of $19.95/hour
Additional $2/hour for hours worked 9:00pm - 6:00am
Automatic milestone wage increases at 1040 hours 2080 hours 4160 hours and annually after that

Warehouse Forklift Operator Job Highlights
Drive Narrow Aisle and High Bay Reach trucks through high trafficked areas to service Order Pickers and VNA Forklift Operators with a focus on safe and efficient operation
Follow Warehouse Management System directions and supervisor directions to replenish and put away in both conventional and Symbotic racking areas
Identify SKU number and quantity to accurately scan and put away items from one location to another
Identify and account for damages by moving damaged cases to the designated area
Maintain a daily productivity count
Support other departments when necessary as directed by the supervisor
Warehouse Forklift Operator Job Requirements
Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and complies with Ontario Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) standards
Capable of sitting standing walking climbing stairs and lifting heavy objects throughout shift
Comfortable in a noisy fast-paced environment
Punctual self-motivated attention to detail and spatially aware of surroundings
Basic math and PC skills
Warehouse Forklift Operator Candidate Assets
Experience in a warehouse environment
Experience with a Warehouse Management System
Experience operating a forklift or similar machine
Positive attitude
Class G2 or higher drivers license
Warehouse Forklift Operator Job Schedule:
Sunday to Wednesday 4:30pm - 3:00am
