Available opportunities include: Casual; Day/Evening/Night shifts.
What youll be doing
Maintaining Clean and Safe Environment:
Removing waste;
Adhering to legislative requirements (e.g. WHMIS);
Vacuuming dusting emptying wastebaskets rearranging furniture;
Daily cleaning and disinfecting all resident areas;
Sweeping/mopping floors;
Spot cleaning;
Infection control;
Mixing cleaning solutions;
Using appropriate levels of supplies;
Heavy cleaning (windows and walls);
Preparing rooms for new residents (deep cleaning); and
Reporting on broken equipment and building repair needs.
Maintaining Stock and Supplies:
Monitoring inventory of supplies;
Informing supervisor of supply needs; and
Replenishing supplies.
Customer Service:
Ensuring resident privacy;
Respecting residents property; and
Advocating on behalf of the resident.
What you bring
Ability to operate appropriate mechanical equipment i.e. washer dryer vacuum cleaner burnisher auto scrubber Clorox 360.
Understanding of infection control principles.
Working Knowledge of: WHMIS Inventory Management & Control.
Compassion professionalism and respect.
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
