Our client a leading supplier of entrance automation solutions is looking for a Shipper Receiver (Temp to permanent) to join their team in Mississauga.
Job Description
- Maintain parts availability for service team.
- Maintain installation items ready for installers to pick up.
- Coordinate with fabricator for installation items that needs fabrication.
- Processing distribution orders prep items ready for shipping contact customer for pick up.
- Coordinate with fabricator for distribution items that needs preps.
- Maintain parts room operators headers inventory coordinating with Fabricator.
- Maintain shipping and receiving items for distribution installation projects needs etc.
- Report received materials to concern group (new group will be created for shipping/receiving fabrication).
- Operating lift trucks to manage relocate stack and count merchandise.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and communication.
- Proven experience in a similar role preferably in a shipping receiving or warehouse setting.
- lift truck license with demonstrated safety and operational expertise.
Qualifications include:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work well with computers and learn new skills.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude flexible and adaptable high energy and self-motivated
- Forklift License
- MUST have a clean criminal record Valid Drivers License with clean record.
This position is required for the candidate to work Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.30 pm and may be required to do overtime. Interested applicants can forward resumes in a word or PDF document.
