The M&A Analyst will build extensive financial modeling and conduct research on prospective targets prepare in-depth valuation analysis and create customized partner presentations for the V.P of M&A Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of our private equity sponsor. This role will also analyze past financial performance to predict future performance and to advise the company on its acquisition strategy. Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analyzes operational and financial data (Income Statements Balance Sheets Bank Statements Tax Statements etc.) to create detailed company-specific analysis.
- Creates pro-forma valuation models based on analysis to support the M&A deal structuring and decision-making process.
- Produces thoughtful valuation analysis decks for executive review and decision making.
- Evaluates prospective capital expenditures and depreciation of potential targets.
- Contributes to all phases of the financial and operational due diligence process.
- Supports the development and execution of strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
- Assists with integration planning for acquired businesses.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
