Job Description

Chatterbox Speech and Language Clinic is a client-centered practice dedicated to providing high-quality evidence-based speech and language therapy services. We work with children and adults to help them reach their full communication potential through personalized therapy and a supportive collaborative environment.


Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assess diagnose and treat speech language voice and fluency disorders in a diverse client population. This role requires excellent communication skills clinical expertise and a genuine commitment to improving lives through therapeutic intervention.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings and client goals.

  • Provide one-on-one or group therapy sessions tailored to clients needs.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation progress reports and treatment records.

  • Collaborate with families caregivers teachers and other professionals to support therapy goals.

  • Educate clients and families on communication strategies and techniques.

  • Participate in team meetings professional development and clinic initiatives.

  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.


Qualifications

  • Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain).

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.

  • Experience with pediatric and/or adult populations.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.


Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

  • Experience with AAC devices autism spectrum disorders or feeding/swallowing therapy is an asset.

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
