Job Summary

MUST HAS DIRECT PFAS EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.

The ideal candidate would possess the following skills:

Perform physical chemical and instrumental analysis of medical device products
Run the instrumentation independently including but not limited to various chromatographic systems (HPLC IC & GC) UV/Spec various wet chemistry analyses FT-IR ICP DSC and dissolution apparatus
Consult with clients to understand their testing needs
Develop and adapt specialized PFAS testing for client specific projects
Preparing samples for analysis and running instrumentation with minimum supervision
Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department
Prepare standards and samples for analysis
Execute method transfer protocols
Document work as required for GMP compliance
Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree preferred in chemistry biochemistry or related degree concentration
3 years of industry experience using chromatography in an Environmental or cGMP environment
3 years of industry experience with PFAS testing or characterization
Experience operating CIC and HPLC systems.
Experience with Solid Phase Extraction
Experience with ISO 10993 and/or ISO 18562 testing
Experience in a cGMP GLP and/or ISO 17025 compliant/accredited lab.
Experience with method development and validation
Polymeric and/or PFAS experience/education
Authorization to work in the US without immediate or future sponsorship.

Additional Information :

Positions are full-time working (Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm) overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within commutable distance to Lancaster PA are encouraged to apply.
