About the Role

As a Senior Consultant in Data Engineering you will lead and contribute to high-impact projects with top-tier international clients across industries. Youll implement and build ETL solutions that directly support Marketing Mix Modeling Marketing Mix Optimization and broader Marketing Effectiveness initiatives.

Youll collaborate with data engineers data scientists and domain specialists on 1-2 projects simultaneously helping clients build robust scalable data architectures that power their marketing analytics efforts. Your work will enable clients to make data driven decisions that optimize their marketing spend improve channel performance and drive ROI.

Youll also benefit from our technological partnerships training programs and mentorship from Ekimetrics partners to grow you expertise in marketing analytics data engineering and consulting.

Responsibilities

Data Engineering

- Design and develop complex data pipelines to support MMM/MMO and marketing effectiveness use cases using our core development platform Databricks

- Build tools to industrialize and deploy data workflows in cloud environments.

- Expand your expertise in data structures solutions architecture and implementation frameworks.

Consulting & Client Partnerships

- Liaise internally with Ekimetrics cross-functional teams sharing best methods for data management.

- Engage regularly with clients to develop a deep understanding of their data for apt delivery of insights and recommendations that enhance the efficiency and scalability of client ETL frameworks.

Project Management

- Actively work with team to identify actions to improve client engagements.

- Proactively resolve potential issues in a project before they arise and identify appropriate actions.

Eki Life

- Support our growth by contributing to initiatives in Knowledge Management Recruitment Culture Diversity and AI innovation.

About You

Were looking for a dual-profile consultant with strong data engineering and marketing analytics capabilities.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering and statistical modeling.

- Experience and/or understanding of Marketing Mix Modeling and Optimization or Marketing Effectiveness.

- Demonstrated history of working in an agile development environment.

Data Engineering Skills

- Proficient with Databricks (Delta Lake Spark Asset Bundles Unity Catalog Cluster Management).

- Proficiency in python with working knowledge of SQL Spark and Bash Scripting. Experience with templating languages is a plus.

- Skilled in building and deploying production-grade data pipelines and architectures complete with CI/CD plus experience with ELT/ETL processes.

- Experience with Azure required familiarity with GCP or AWS a plus.

- Experience with PowerBI or Tableau for dashboarding and data visualizations.

- Exposure to ML or advanced analytics techniques is a plus.

Consulting Skills

- Prior consulting experience or strong interest in client-facing roles

- Clearly explains data engineering methodology and technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders

- Passion for marketing strategy and business impact

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaborative teams

- Self-motivated and thrives in fast-paced environments

- Spanish speaking is a plus

Determining factors for base compensation include but are not limited to professional background years of experience and skillset. A reasonable estimate of the base salary for our NYC office is $110000.
