Job Description
A stealth-stage tech venture is seeking a founding full-stack developer to help architect and launch a platform that empowers individuals to monetize and control their data. What Youll Do
- Build backend services and APIs to support scalable distributed systems
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS GCP or Azure
- Make key architectural decisions around scalability reliability and security
- Set up engineering workflows including testing CI/CD pipelines and monitoring
- Work across the full stackfrom user interfaces to backend logic and infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with the founding team on product strategy and user feedback
- Own projects end-to-end balancing speed and technical rigor
What You Bring
- 4 years of hands-on software development experience (early-stage or high-growth environments preferred)
- Backend experience with one or more of:
- (JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Spring Boot (Java/Kotlin)
- Go
- Proven experience deploying and operating production systems in the cloud
- Solid understanding of distributed systems fault tolerance and scaling
- A builders mindset: proactive resourceful and comfortable with ownership
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- React Native experience is a major plus
Bonus Points
- Experience with GraphQL or other modern API frameworks
- Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform Pulumi or CloudFormation
- Background in performance tuning and observability for live systems
Compensation
- Base Salary: Up to $200000
- Equity: Meaningful ownership stake in the companys future
