Job Summary

Multi-state architectural and engineering firm is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to join their Rochester Minnesota team!

Responsibilities:

HVAC engineering design responsibilities (calculating heating/cooling loads select equipment layout duct/piping create/edit project details and write/edit project engineering specifications)
Plumbing systems design (calculating capacities/loads laying/piping systems and details and editing project specifications)
Participate in design review meetings/workshops
Use technical expertise to research/resolve design issues
Assure drawings/designs meet QA/QC design standards and local codes
Coordinate with architectural/engineering disciplines

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineer or Architectural Engineering
6 years of consulting engineering experience with an emphasis on HVAC/plumbing design
Experience working on healthcare laboratory commercial municipal institutional and government facilities projects
PE License
Knowledge of building controls preferred
Experience with Revit Trane/Trace IES and Microsoft Office

Salary is commensurate with experience.
