We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and this role you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive healthcare services to women focusing on reproductive health pregnancy and childbirth. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions related to the female reproductive system ensuring the well-being of our patients.
As an MD/DO Ob/Gyn you will be involved in a wide range of projects including conducting routine check-ups performing surgical procedures and providing prenatal care. Your role is essential in promoting womens health and addressing issues such as infertility menopause and sexually transmitted infections. Responsibilities:
- Conducting physical examinations and evaluating medical histories of patients.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds and blood work.
- Developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Performing surgical procedures such as C-sections and hysterectomies.
- Providing prenatal care and monitoring the health of both mother and fetus.
- Diagnosing and treating various gynecological conditions including endometriosis and ovarian cysts.
- Counseling patients on reproductive health family planning and contraceptive options.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid state medical license to practice in New York.
- Demonstrated experience in providing obstetric and gynecological care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate patient care.
Clinic Schedule: 8-hour shifts 2 days per week
LD Schedule: 24-hour shifts 1 day per week
Deliveries Per Year: 1000
Procedures Required: GYN surgeries
Support Staff: MFM Gyn Oncologist CNM attendings residents
