We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Neurology In this role you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with neurological disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality care and improving the overall well-being of our patients. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging cases and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.
As an MD/DO in Neurology you will be at the forefront of patient care utilizing your knowledge and skills to make a significant impact on individuals lives. You will be involved in conducting neurological examinations interpreting diagnostic tests prescribing medications and recommending therapies to address a wide range of neurological conditions. Responsibilities:
- Conduct neurological assessments and examinations to diagnose patients conditions.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs CT scans and EEGs to determine the nature and extent of neurological disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions.
- Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness and side effects.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment strategies.
- Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions treatment options and preventive measures.
- Participate in research activities and clinical trials related to neurology.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Neurology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Neurologist.
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week
Call Requirement: 91 days per year
Duties: Ambulatory clinic sessions inpatient rounds stroke consults and administrative tasks
Will help develop and grow the neuro stroke program
Support Staff: Chief 4 MDs 2 APPs
Rounding with medical students and residents/fellows required
Must be board-certified
