Project Manager Facilities Management

Turner & Townsend are looking for experienced Hard FM and/or M&E Project Managers to join our Real Estate team in London. You will take responsibility for a number of diverse projects within the portfolio taking them from inception through delivery to handover - covering all aspects of the project lifecycle. Typically projects range from 25k to 3M.

You will be working in a multi-stakeholder operational environment often to challenging deadlines so it is very much a dynamic team effort between us our clients and their operational teams.

Key Accountabilities

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for:

• Helping to establish the overall success criteria for the project including time cost technical and performance parameters
• Identifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality safety health and environment issues
• Establishing effective project governance processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
• Project planning including producing the detailed project plan
• Working with the overall cross-functional project team
• Monitoring and applying performance management techniques
• Managing the change control process
• Monitoring and advising upon project finances
• Managing the flow of project information between the project team and the client through regular meetings and written communications
• Preparing formal project progress and other reports
• Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages
• Understanding the impacts of your projects on the operational team and the buildings infrastructure
• Reviewing and mitigating risks associated with each project being delivered

Qualifications :

To be considered for this role you will need:

• Ideally professionally qualified in one of the following fields: MEP engineering facilities management construction project management surveying or architecture energy conservation
• Evidence of delivering projects in live and occupied operational buildings

• A good understanding of the characteristics of project impacts on engineering systems over the project lifecycle
• Good working knowledge of all of the main project management concepts tools and techniques
• Experience of leading small to medium-sized construction projects of medium/high complexity
• Experience of stakeholder engagement in complex operational environments
• Experience of dealing with multiple clients at differing locations at any one time
