Test Technician
Location: CV30 Area
Hourly Rate: 16 per hour holiday pay
Hours: Monday to Friday (normal dayshift)
Contract Length: 6-month contract
Contract Type: Umbrella (inside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP
Syntech Recruitment is proud to partner with a forward-thinking manufacturer to find a talented Test Technician for a 6-month contract.
Youll be part of a small dynamic innovation-led team where youll play a key role in testing cutting-edge testing that power the future of engineering.
Test Technician responsibilities:
Mount and remove transmissions from test rigs.
Conduct mechanical testing to match agreed specifications.
Perform basic reworks to resolve issues during testing.
Prepare end-of-line (EOL) test reports for customers.
Use MS Excel to log and interpret data including creating graphs and visuals.
Test Technician Experience:
Required:
Previous experience in a testing environment (mechanical)
Excellent computer literacy especially in Microsoft Excel.
Team player with a proactive and organised mindset.
Logical thinker with a strong problem-solving approach.
Familiarity with LabVIEW testing software.
Understanding of transmission systems and differentials.
