Job Description: Financial Data Analyst
Department: Business Finance
Location: Chembur
Reports To: CFO
CTC 5 to 8 lac
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Management
- Gather data from internal systems databases and external sources.
- Clean validate and maintain data integrity across datasets.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and automated reporting tools.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends patterns and anomalies.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to support business initiatives.
- Use statistical techniques to derive insights and support decision-making.
- Reporting & Visualization
- Create dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI Tableau or Excel.
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
- Translate complex data into understandable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing finance operations and IT.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic planning.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve data collection and analysis processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends tools and best practices in data analytics.
- Contribute to the development of data governance and quality standards.
- Support budgeting financial planning and monthly closing processes ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with internal policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance Accounting Economics Mathematics or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis preferably within the chemical or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in SAP Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
- Experience with statistical programming languages (e.g. Python R) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
