Position Overview:
As the COO you will be the driving force behind our operations in the West Rand of Johannesburg. Your mission is to lead strategize and innovate our efforts to provide top-tier transportation and logistics services with a specific emphasis on trailer manufacturing and truck this pivotal role youll shape our organizations future and guarantee our ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Lead inspire and manage our operational teams to ensure the seamless and efficient functioning of our daily operations.
• Strategic Direction: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute operational strategies in line with the companys growth and financial objectives.
• Resource Allocation: Oversee the effective allocation of resources including personnel vehicles and equipment to meet operational goals and maintain cost-effectiveness.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that our trailer manufacturing and truck sales operations meet the highest standards of quality and customer expectations. Implement quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets closely monitor financial performance and implement cost control measures.
• Logistics and Distribution: Lead our logistics and distribution teams to optimize transportation routes warehouse operations and inventory management ensuring timely and efficient delivery of commodities.
• Compliance and Safety: Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations industry standards and environmental sustainability. Implement safety measures to protect our workforce assets and the environment.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance identify trends and make informed data-driven decisions.
• Customer Focus: Uphold and enhance the highest levels of customer service standards promptly addressing any operational issues that may impact customer satisfaction.

Min requirements:

• Proven leadership experience in the transportation and logistics industry with a focus on trailer manufacturing and truck sales.
• Strong background in operations management and process optimization.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• a min of 10 years experience as a COO in a similar industry is essential
• Bachelors degree in Finance Business Logistics or a related field is required. A CA(SA) or masters degree in a related discipline is advantageous.
